The Chamber
The Peace River & District Chamber of Commerce is an advocacy group for local business. The local Chamber was started in 1911 and continues as a strong voice in the community. Together with the Alberta Chamber of Commerce we advocate for Alberta Businesses, we work to provide support, growth and networking opportunities for local business.
Bringing businesses together to benefit the peace country.
How Does A Chamber Run?
Volunteers are the key to the chamber’s success. The Board of Directors provides leadership, sets goals, volunteers time & expertise to keep the Chamber of Commerce moving forward. Chambers are funded through membership fees, partnerships with like-minded organizations, sponsorships, and a variety of events like speaker series and trade shows.
